On October 1st, Yume safely delivered her puppies. 🤍
No matter how many births I experience, I never truly get used to them.
Seeing the puppies arrive safely is one thing, but knowing that their mother has also made it safely through the delivery is when I can finally breathe a little easier.
And Yume’s maternal instincts are in full force. 😂❤️
Whenever I gently pick up one of her puppies for a health check, she quickly tries to gather the baby back to her side.
She cleans them, nurses them, watches over them, and already has the unmistakable look of a mother.
Until yesterday, these tiny lives were inside her.
Today, they are wriggling around beside her.
No matter how many times I witness it, the beginning of a new life still feels extraordinary.
You did such a wonderful job, Yume. 🤍
For now, we’ll quietly watch over mom and her little ones as they rest and grow.
