イタグレの耳といえばローズイヤーを思い浮かべる方も多いかもしれません😊
でも実際に子犬たちを見ていると耳は成長の途中で本当にさまざまな変化を見せてくれます😊
生まれた頃はペロンとした耳だったバロン。
成長するにつれて立ち耳のように見える時期があり「このまま立ち耳になるのかな？」と思ったこともありました。
その後は耳の形が変わり、今ではすっかり見慣れた耳に😊
また同じイタグレでも耳の形や動き方には個性があります。
感情によって耳がよく動く子もいれば、前に倒れやすい子、左右で違う形になる子もいます。
さらに親犬が同じでも耳の形が違うこともあり、血統や成長の過程によってさまざまな変化が見られます🐾
子犬の頃の耳だけでは将来の形が分からないことも多く、だからこそ成長を見守るのが面白いなと思っています✨

When people think of Italian Greyhound ears, many may picture the classic rose ear.
But when you watch puppies grow, their ears can change in surprising ways.
Baron was born with soft floppy ears. As he grew, there was even a period when his ears looked almost upright, making me wonder what they would look like as an adult.
Over time, his ears continued to change, and today they have become part of his unique charm.
Even within the same breed, ear shapes and movements can vary greatly. Some dogs move their ears expressively, some have ears that fold forward more easily, and some even have slightly different ears on each side.
Watching these changes is one of the many joys of raising and observing Italian Greyhounds.
